Grid Paper Shop is a lightweight, free tool. We try to collect as little as possible. This page explains, in plain language, what may be collected and why. It describes current practice and clearly flags anything that only applies "if enabled" in the future.
What the generator stores
Your grid settings are saved in your own browser (local storage) so the tool remembers your last setup.
A configuration can also be encoded into a shareable link — that data lives in the URL you choose to share, not on a server.
The generator runs in your browser; your designs are not uploaded to us.
Analytics and server logs (if enabled)
We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and reliability.
These are used in aggregate to operate and improve the site, not to identify individuals.
Contact form submissions
If you send a note through the contact or feedback form, we receive the message you typed (and a name, only if you choose to add one).
We use it solely to read and respond to your feedback or request.
We do not require an email address to use the tool.
Advertising and affiliate tracking (if added later)
We do not currently run third-party ads or ad-tracking scripts.
If advertising or affiliate tracking is added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe it before it goes live.
Any such change will be reflected here and on the advertising and affiliate-disclosure pages.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use Grid Paper Shop?
No. There are no accounts and no signup. The tool works entirely in your browser and remembers your settings using local storage on your device.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal data. Any analytics or server logs are used in aggregate to operate and improve the site.
Are there third-party ad trackers?
Not currently. If advertising or affiliate tracking is ever added, this privacy policy will be updated to describe it before it is enabled.
